After having some bad experiences (where I was overcharged and underwhelmed by the service), I turned to Yelp and found Ageless.

Sherwood came to my house promptly and was a complete professional - and extremely personable! Their prices were extremely reasonable and the work was done well. Did I also mention they rescued a family of baby birds that took up residence in my chimney?! Ha!

I asked around for recommendations. Friends, neighbors, & other trades that I respected had no one to recommend. I had no recourse but to go online. With much trepidation I got 3 estimates from total strangers. However, apart from the much better price of the work , I felt most comfortable with ageless chimney because they came highly rated from BBB, Angie's list & a number of other rating organizations. I truly made the right decision. Sherwood, one of the owners could not have been nicer. His crew was extremely professional & efficient. He even went so far as to repair something in my boiler room that had nothing to do with the chimney ( at no cost). Great job, price & experience. I would highly recommend them. read less

Right from the phone call to the installation. The receptionist scheduled someone to come out and called me to let me know they were on there way. Bobby arrived on time, with his crew, and provided me with a full explanation of what needed to be done, what materials he uses, all the material specifications, how the chimney liner installation was to be done, cost and warranty. He was neat and clean and made sure I was satisfied throughout each step of the installation.

As an Engineer, I expect someone who is knowledgeable, experienced, affordable (within reason), and can produce good quality work. Bobby from Ageless Chimney met all those qualities and deserves this review. read less

Not only were they punctual and courteous but they did an amazing job updating the inside and outside of my chimney. Those of you from Levittown know that these houses have been around the block and then some. After coming by to give us an estimate on a chimney cap, they noticed that the top three rows of our chimney was coming apart. With winter coming around the corner, I didn't want to waste any time getting the job done. These guys knew things were getting pretty busy as well and were able to fit us in that day. In a matter of two hours they completely re-did the masonry on our chimney, inserted a stainless steel liner, and installed an new flue and cap.

Their attention to detail while minimizing the impact to a lazy Saturday afternoon was much appreciated by me and my wife. I recommend this family owned business to anyone needing that special attention to their chimney and home. read less

Since I have absolutely no knowledge of chimney's, I was definitely nervous when shopping around for a chimney repair company. Luckily I came across Bobby and Sherwood at Ageless. These guys have a very personable and trustworthy approach to the business. They explain the work that needs to be done in simple terms, so I can understand.

I just moved into a new house and found out that my gas could not be turned on because there was something wrong with the chimney.

I called Ageless Chimney at 10:30 and they were here by noon. They quickly figured out the problem and actually had all of the material with them (which was a pleasant surprise since I had no idea what the issue was).

They replaced the liner in no time at all and went above and beyond to make sure my chimney was in perfect condition for years to come.

I was having a boiler installed and my boiler guy said that we need somebody to clean out the chimney... read moreI was having a boiler installed and my boiler guy said that we need somebody to clean out the chimney before he starts the boiler up so last minute I was scrambling around trying to find somebody who could get there within the next few hours. I call these guys and they were able to come within a couple of hours and clean out my chimney but they ran into was a clogged chimney with the clay falling apart clogging my chimney so these guys are put in an insert and a cap while it was dark out. Got my boiler running cuz it was like 30 degrees out here in New York and was able to get heat that night if it wasn't for these guys I don't know what I would have done thank you guys you're the best highly recommended read less

Found ageless chimney on Yelp. They responded right away. We set a date and two men came. I think it was an owner and a helper. The owner gave an estimate and we hired him. They did the work same day. They were very professional, courteous and very clean. We submitted the claim to our insurance company. They paid everything (except the deductible) and said the price we were charged was a very fair, good price. The whole experience was easy and not stressful at all. First off, I was extremely satisfied with their professionalism. I was really pleased with the fact that the owner of the company came with another contractor. Not only did he explain to the maintainence staff the services that we needed but he also explained it to myself and the other administrative staff members (there was a major repair that was needed). I was extremely satisfied with the work they did at my school so I hired them to do a roofing job on my home in addition to rebuilding my chimney. Communicating with Sherwood either directly or through Cheryl was easy, effective and efficient. I was offered 2 options, pavers or cement and 2 estimates for the job. We opted for the pavers which were slightly more expensive but well worth it in my opinion. Sherwood and his team were prompt, organized and did a wonderful job. From that first call to the completion of the job, the many 5 star reviews were right on -- so I'm adding one.

Joe and his assistant arrived early and got right to work, quoting me a very fair price for a full sweep. Little did he know that he would find triple the amount of soot than generally encountered.

Not only did they complete the job with no additional cost (I would have understood an upcharge for the amount of work), but Joe suggested we have the burner serviced as the amount of soot indicated to him a potential failing unit.

These guys did a great job, kept a dirty job from messing up the house -- and made a friend with my dog! They also have a loyal customer moving forward. read less

I knew i needed a liner, and was worried that the damage to my chimney would get worse the longer i waited. I was also nervous about carbon monoxide back drafting down the chimney. I never expected them to be able to even come by on the same day for an estimate. I was super surprised when they made it to my house at 3PM and had the liner in the truck ready to be installed. My wife said the work was done very fast, the employees were extremely nice and very helpful. They left my house with no mess, and very clean. I just would like to thank everyone involved in making this a super easy installation and way faster than i ever imagined. I appreciate the attention to detail, cleanliness, and quality workmanship. I cannot thank you or recommend you all enough.

The guys showed up and really took care of business. We had the upper portion of our chimney rebuilt and it looks amazing. Very clean job. We also had the metal chimney liner put in and now we don't have to worry about the old terra cotta lining. Bobby and the guys at Ageless Chimney are professional, knowledgeable, clean and on point. After calling multiple vendors who all basically told us that we would have to stay in this cold for two more days until the stores opened on Monday, Bob from Ageless came in as an answer to out prayers! Him and his team got to work on the chimney (which vents the air from the boiler) immediately! He understood that we couldn't just stay in the house without heat and risk bursting the water pipes, put in a temporary chimney pipe and within few hours we had heat in our house!! When the stores opened on Monday him and his team got to work with the insulated pipe and replaced the temporary chimney! The work was done professionally and quickly!
