Sherwood came to my house promptly and was a complete professional - and extremely personable! Their prices were extremely reasonable and the work was done well. Did I also mention they rescued a family of baby birds that took up residence in my chimney?! Ha!

I was really pleased with the fact that the owner of the company came with another contractor. Not only did he explain to the maintainence staff the services that we needed but he also explained it to myself and the other administrative staff members (there was a major repair that was needed). I was extremely satisfied with the work they did at my school so I hired them to do a roofing job on my home in addition to rebuilding my chimney. Joe and his assistant arrived early and got right to work, quoting me a very fair price for a full sweep. Little did he know that he would find triple the amount of soot than generally encountered.

Not only did they complete the job with no additional cost (I would have understood an upcharge for the amount of work), but Joe suggested we have the burner serviced as the amount of soot indicated to him a potential failing unit.

These guys did a great job, kept a dirty job from messing up the house -- and made a friend with my dog! They also have a loyal customer moving forward.

Our chimney cap blew off and the flue broke during a storm. Found ageless chimney on Yelp. They responded right away. We set a date and two men came. I think it was an owner and a helper. The owner gave an estimate and we hired him. They did the work same day. They were very professional, courteous and very clean. We submitted the claim to our insurance company. They paid everything (except the deductible) and said the price we were charged was a very fair, good price. The whole experience was easy and not stressful at all. Would recommend this company.

I called Ageless Chimney based on the positive yelp reviews to fix a leaky chimney in my parents home in Setauket. The crew arrived right on time after calling in advance to confirm their arrival. Once they got here, they scoped out the problem (basically an old roof in need of repair) and declined to charge anything--even for their time. I was prepared to spend several hundred dollars to fix the problem. Having been recently scammed by an earlier chimney con artist who asked my parents to shell out more than 1k for essentially no work, we were surprised and grateful for the honesty of these guys.
